The roo and one hen are red and one hen is buff. Actually I think I am going to try and keep this trio. I sure like those big eggs,they seem even bigger because I am used to bantam eggs!

I just filled up our second sportsman incubator completely full this evening. I guess if I can manage to keep from having to turn on the 3rd one, will mean I'm cutting back
We should have lots of chicks available at POOPS in May, and even at the auctions soon. I'll try to save the best for POOPS though.
Maribeth, those muscovy ducks that I bought at Fletcher from you are sure fertile. Every duck egg in the incubator is growing!

Watered the garden and pulled a few weeds today.

I'd love to Lynn! I have never done that and would love to give it a try. How do you cook it? On a spit or all wraped up in banna leaves! (Oh I forgot that was in Hawaii that they did that,What do Okies wrap them in!lol)
P&B do you have wire floors for your Flemish or solid floors? I have also seen them in pens with straw on the floor. I know they can get sore hocks from the wire because they are so big.

I sure had fun this weekend. Wish the sick folks weren't so sick! Worked making feed all afternoon and cleaning stuff. Theboys and I had fun...have chicks running all over the place. Will plan on bringing some to the party!
Dodge is Sat. so I will holler once and awhile about stuff!
