at the wind & the coolness! LOoks like a phonytail day!

Hope you didn't loose anything out of that pen!

Count me among those who are having a problem with upper respiratory infection and lingering, uncontrollable cough. Starting the fifth week, it is finally getting much better. Helping with NPIP testing of my fairly large flock didn't help. Needless to say, my outdoor chores--particularly coop cleaning--are suffering. Not incubating ANYTHING; unusual for me. A few hens are broody in their pens, but I'm not really expecting many to hatch. Have to cut down on my flock as much as I can bring myself to, in anticipation of my knee replacement surgery in July when Vashi will have to care for everything for awhile . . .

Looking forward to POOPS. Probably won't have any young chicks, but will have quite a few very nice, mostly show quality silkies and a showgirl or two.

Found a few shingles from the barn roof in the back pasture. Looks like I'm going to have to climb up there when the wind is no longer blowing so hard.

Al - If the group says no about my PM, is there any objection to me selling mine that way?

While at the cement auction I picked up a rabbit for my DD. Go out to check on her this AM, she is laying on 3 ice cold babies. I locked her up in the top of the hutch with food water & a big bed of hay. Guess I will give her a few hours & go back out & check on her. She was in the top of the hutch last night, but for some reason went down in the cold to have the babies, silly rabbit!

Between the auction stress, coming to a new home & my 2 austrailian shephards proving her lots of love & attention, I am sure she has had too much stress to have any kits that thrive.

She was nice & fat when I got her, but no way did I think she was ready to push out babies!!!!
