sometimes it's just hard to think of everything we give our critters credit for having enough smarts to stay where it's warm, oh well just hate to lose them when i could have kept it from happening.

Morning Okie Friends! I have already been out chasing loose critters. Had a pullet out ,finally caught her. Then while I was moving the male guniea pigs around and taking pics of them to put on craigslist one escaped. Ran under the shed! Had to get the water hose and flush it out but finally caught it too. Decided to come in grab a sandwich for breakfast then go out and plant tomatoes. Have your reall gusty winds today. Storms on the way this afternoon. Going to work outside as much as possible. One of my new campine pullets is acting crippled. Her toes are curling under and her whole leg seems to unable to support her. Can't imagine what is the matter with her.
The wind was blowing from the pens to the house this morning and the wife said I had to many roosters because they woke her up crowing one after the other early this morning. I said well maybe there are only 13 out there now!Oh well part of them will go to the sale this weekend. (maybe 3!lol)

Sooner - Will the next Muskogee auction be on Friday the 8th? I hoped it would be on a weekend so I could attend. If it is Friday, do you have any details, such as start time and consignment drop-off time?
POCO looks like it will be the 15th. Not sure how that plays out for me either but hope to be there.

morning guys!! already been out getting everybody fed, little captain is infatuated with the NN, she is in isolation but he is sure making eyes at her!
meanwhile Galahad the EE roo got to go out to range with the girls today- he can't figure out which way to go! and they have accepted him for the most part- although i don't think the girls can quite figure him out- his manner is much different than Barny- i guess being a 'grown up' roo makes quite a difference- he dances, but isn't rough...thanks coral!!
now off to find breakfast

Robin - I'm happy to hear the EE roo is working out. So far Barney hasn't been aggressive. I'm sure the windy days and new surroundings have him a little disoriented. I'm hopeful that he will settle in and accept our relationship without challenging me.
