OKLAHOMA AUCTIONS and SWAPS

I live close to the Durant Auction. Always has lots of birds. Never know what might be there. If you plan to take birds, call ahead. If you wait until 3 or 4 to check in, you'll be there until it's finished and get less for them. Do dress appropriate for outside weather. Cold or hot that's what it will be in the building. Great personable staff.

The Chupps auction in Inola is the biggest one I know of anywhere close to you. I think there is a swap in Adair Ok. but not sure if it is still active in the winter.

Is their a chicken auction this weekend ?
I am in Jones but I think this is their off week.
Does anybody have any ideas ?

None that I know of Maud is on Thursday nights but as far as this weekend I believe they were all last weekend. I know Jones and Blanchard were both last Sat. evening. Don't forget about the auction on Monday evenings at Lexington. I'd wait till after the first of the year though because it is suppose to be cold this Monday and Jim isn't having a sale on the Monday between Christmas and New Years.
Have a Happy Holiday Season!!!
And Hope you find a sale to go to.

I will wait I guess.
My 5 year old daughter has asked for chickens for Christmas. We did find her 2 black Cochin at the Blanchard auction Tuesday. We had a good time and will go again. We do the Jones auction as well but I think the Blanchard had more and a better price as well.
Have a Happy Christmas everyone...
