Jones and Blanchard auctions are this Saturday, Feb 28th and both at 5 pm. You'll see BYC Okies at either of them. Unfortunately, it's impossible to attend both at the same time

There are several auctions in central Oklahoma that sell poultry and rabbits, but in my opinion it would be a long shot to find an angora or a white blue eyed rabbit at an auction. You would probably have better luck going to one of the rabbit sale sites or checking the rescue organizations for rabbits. Another good option is to go to a rabbit show and see what you can buy.

Last year I was looking for an Angora and if I had gotten hold of the breeder (who was in Arkansas) sooner, she would have brought the Angora to the Eufaula rabbit show for me. Unfortunately, I learned about the rabbit show the week after it was held.

Here is the website for the American Rabbit Breeders Association that lists the Oklahoma shows this Spring. http://www.arba.net/Shows.php#OK
I
didn't see Eufaula on the list, but you might check with the Chamber of Commerce to see where and when it is held.

The Harrah auction closed but there is one in Jones. It is the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 5 pm.
The last time there were quite a few hatching eggs.
The Blanchard auction is on the same nights and I heard they had a lot of eggs also.
Cement is the first weekend of each month.
The first post in this thread has all the auctions I know of but I can only update as I get information.

Also you
might want to check out the Okies in the BYC thread. We have a lot of Okies there that can give you a lot of info.
