Does anyone know of an auction closer to the panhandle? Looks like most of what we've got listed is central and eastern. My aunt and uncle live near the crook of the panhandle, and have lots of guineas they're wanting to sell.

Cammie the closest auctions the panhandle that my friend knows of is Ponca City and Enid. He didn't know of any that were closer

I just checked the NewOkiePioneers forum and a lady said:

"I was at the feed store today and the flyer was out for the new Newcastle Auction

August 9 at 5pm at the sale barn on HWY 62 (Main St) Just north of the High School on the east side of the road.
The flyer said it would be the second Sat of every month at 5pm.

Poultry, game birds, rabbits and cages only."

Do They still sell chickens or caged animals out underneath the trees.

Small Animal Auction


Sat Aug 9th 5:00 pm @ the Newcastle Fairgrounds.

For more information call Jerry or Misti @ 405-224-0289 or 405-623-9293.

Will be poultry, rabbits, ducks, geese, game birds, cages of all kinds.

Not allowed are goats, sheep, pigs/hogs, cattle, horses, mules,(livestock) etc.

All animals must be caged. Will need to bring own cages if planning on buying.

15% commission on all items sold.
