Been through some bad ice storms in Georgia in my lifetime. HATE ice. You can drive in snow, but not ice. And black ice is the worst. Sure hope all of you come through this okay. We are having odd springlike weather in the mtns of N. Ga right now, way warmer than normal, but it's coming-payback for a week of mid-70's. Brrrrrrrrrrr We'll be in the teens at night in a few days.

This storm came from the southwest, and supposedly just hit Kansas today. So all your northerners just wait, its coming. We are supposed to have a snow storm this Friday and Saturday. We will see how that goes...

Love all the pictures, they are both pretty and scary. We had a really bad ice storm in '98. My pick up truck at the time, was covered with 3 inches of ice. It was pretty scary, we were without power for about 6 days and all my tropical fish died.

I hope everyone is okay and is staying warm.

Okie, that's the best picture I've seen yet! I don't want to post any more of mine; the only funny ones are of my chickens, and they are embarrassing. My poor Orps are about to bump their heads, and my banties have been soaking wet! They like the rain I guess.

Thanks Okie, test went alright. Only had to make a 30 to pass the class, so I wasn't too worried. I will be the only math teacher I know that speaks French...

The drive was pretty scary. Almost all of Norman was out around OU, and it was after dark. Lots of trees still in the road, and on cars, and some still falling! Thankfully my mommy drove me, I was not about to go alone.

We still have power, and the neighborhoods around me and the schools got theirs today. If my chicken pen holds through the snow storm I think everything will be fine.

Country...SO SO glad to hear you didnt lose power and WAY TO GO with the test...glad you got there fine

I heard from Monty/buckguy.....he is in hotel at night and home during the day.he lost 2 chickens and tons of trees

but I have a generator for him tomorrow

so hopefully he will be back on line soon...he says hi to all .and thank you for the concern.........we WILL get through this !
