I'm in Carthage, but people in Joplin, Webb City, Purcell, Jasper, and Lamar are just some that got hit really hard last week. I was right on the line of it, anyone NW of here got it a lot worse than we did. We do have our share of downed power lines, but I have not lost power yet. Thank God for that. We were bracing for this round of 5 - 11 inches
( weather was predicting that for my location), but have only gotten about 2. Just a lite dusting coming down now. Just checked on the girls and guys, 8 eggs tonight. Yeah they are still laying. 5 were still outside the coop even though it is dark, had an awful time getting them back inside. Threatened Claude with his life, but finally was able to grab him, he tried to peck, and I threatened him again with the stewpot. Even my baby was being stubborn tonight. Maybe the hallogen light on the outside of the coop was not such a good idea.
