HEY So so sorry for being vacant! I was on vacation in Florida My Dwarfs are growing out beautifully and are laying the cutest eggs! My boys are so sweet to her and one even escorts her to the box when she lays her egg I have never witnessed them fighting with each other and I am loving the colors and attitudes coming from these little chickens. They are by far my favorite. Pictures are below Hammy, Pixel, and Dottie are in these pictures. The others I had ended up being roosters so I sold them and kept 2 boys and only got one pullet.@shelbyw How are your Olandsk Dwarfs growing out?
@Pioneerloft I contacted Paradise Poultry, waiting for a reply on availability. Sold my remaining BOs, did the maintenance to the Chicken House & disinfecting. I'm ready
They get about 8 ounces for a rooster and 6-7 ounces for a hen. I can get a picture of me holding one for you tomorrow when I have daylight. How big is a Serama? This breed is considered a true bantam and is in the same family as Landrace breeds. They are considered rare so that is why they are 45 I absolutely love them and the crow is so funny at the moment but they are only 5 months. It sounds tiny but they try. I definitely would only get pullets if you can since they tend to crow A LOT even though it’s not loud. Very sweet and love attention. I would totally recommend getting them because you won’t regret it.Darn, they are so very CUTE! No one seems to know their "size" aside being told small Are they about the size of a Serama or bigger? How much of a crow does the Roo have? Living in a residential neighborhood, I'm considerate & prefer to stay under the radar
$45 per chick is way over my price range but still considering. Thank you for the pictures, makes it even more tempting
The roos are so sweet and the best They never fight that I have seen and are so cute. I love having roosters around just in general and these are definitely my favorites to have. I also like having my silkie roosThanks for the info ... Definitely pullets only but I so love the Roos.
