Could you please pm me a link to what you refer tom as "Ancient" breeds? I do not post on this thread often, but am always curiuos about rare breeds.

No I made an assumption that they came from the Greenfire or from birds that came from Greenfire since that is the only import that I know of.

If I can get enough pens built I want to add either Sweet Potato Quechua, Huastec, or Colloncas.

In that case you need Favaucanas!

But then you loose your historical part. Get Favorelles and dub them like Old English Game leaving only 1/4 inch of comb. They will look a little different but the genetics will be the same.

Alaska I thought of one that is heritage and has only vestigial combs and wattles: Chantecler, a Canadian breed.

I am getting Hamburgs this spring, they are a very old breed.

I would be inteested in a pair or trio of young birds if you have them available at some point. They are amazing birds.

I added Dorkings, specifically Red Pyles just recently and am getting ko shamo within a month or so.

Saladin, where do you put the Mediterranean breeds in your classifications? I just got some Minorcas, and also have White Faced Black Spanish.
