Most definitely!

As much as I'd love to, our broodies lack common sense.....or maternal instincts, at least. Last chick (Silver Duckwing X Crele) was hatched out by my Sumatra, and the entire experience turned out to be rather disheartening. She left the peep as soon as it emerged, which resulted in a chilly death.

Good! They've been staying in their coop because I've found multiple illegal nests. I think I'll let them out tomorrow for some free-range time.

It was pretty cold here in Florida the last few days.
