Stunning! :love Are they Brown Reds? :)

You know what I have no clue but they were only $25 so I had to bring them home with me, well $40with the cage they came home in. I wasn't going to buy them I was just picking up 6 baby black jg's that day and 1 thing led to another and well chicken math......now I have 28 chickens lol. And 6 are roos good thing I'm unrestricted! Maybe someone here can ID them for me.

Here is some more of them wife snapped these on her phone much better pics. The full red headed hen is ginger we still don't have a name for the other hen yet thinking ruby maybe.

They most certainly are! :wee I find Spangled chicks to be quite distinctive. :love

That's what I've been trying to figure out. All remind me of Barred pullets from last year, but another BYC member thought otherwise. :) Crele cockerels are much lighter than their female counterparts. :D Love that little spot on Crele pullets' heads.

That's what my Creole oegb roo looked like as a chick. He and a white frizzle Cochin were my first ever roosters. Is there a difference between Crele pullets and BBR chicks? Are brassybacks also like BBR or are they darker?

@Jmpridge , they're simply beautiful, and well-worth that $25! :) No such thing as too many good roos, either. ;)

I'm thinking they may be lovely mixed colors, though pure OEGB. However, the rooster most resembles a Brassy Back (minus wing bars and slate legs), and the hen, a Brown Red (though they don't normally sport dark heads). As for Ginger, how old? Reminds me a lot of an adolescent Black Breasted Red cockerel. :)

How adorable! :) Little is more precious than a Crele cockerel. :love

I find it easy to distinguish Crele pullets from other colors by their faint head spots. :) Otherwise, they closely resemble BB Reds. :D

Brassy Backs vary a lot between chicks. Some look somewhat similar to a BB Red chick, while others are grizzled with indistinct markings, and still others are strikingly light. :)

Lovely!

Little ones grow up too fast! :D

As you can see, Spangles' white chests are beginning to emerge (there are too many of these little things to show in one picture ) Still not sure how many pullets and cockerels we have, but one is a definite male.

My Crele boys....what can I say about them, other than, they're precious beyond words? :love Two are darker gold, while the other is significantly lighter.

Ah, the Brassy Backs. Spunky and affection as can be, they're some of my favorites. Baby who's hogging the camera lens is a proven cockerel ....thinking two others are, too. All I need is one pullet in the bunch to be content. :)

Red Pyles = sassy as all get out! Hoping they're both cockerels, though it remains to be seen.

At least 2 out of 5 of these adorable Whites are cockerels! :celebrate Mr. Flops needs more companions. ;)
DSCN5011.JPG

Loving the vocal Barreds! :love Yet again, thinking at least one is a cockerel, though more would be lovely. We already have Pibbles and Beeps, and therefore don't need any more pullets.
DSCN5025.JPG

Last, but not least, the Crele girls. They're like little quails....:love Since two of my original hens passed, I'm actually beginning to look forward to having more Crele females around. :)
