Hey guys! Just another update! Ended up letting Bernie out of the cage about a week ago. Haven’t been able to update because it was the week before Spring break - very hectic lol.
The other birds are very cruel to her! It upsets me. I’m also surprised. They were able to see her in the mornings and at night, but I guess that wasn’t enough time to remember her. It’s sad because she was so close with the others before. But that’s the way it’ll go for a while.
I fixed her crop bra a different way again; the other way wasn’t working. What would happen is the crop bra would slide up! It didn’t do that before. So I had the bottom two straps tied straight to each other around her breastbone, and the upper two straps connected to the bottom straps in like a V. Like so:

She seems so happy now. She immediately went out and scratched around!! Despite the downfall of the other birds being fairly mean, it was worth it. Her new crop bra shape seems to be working for her. She’s a happy lil bird.
If anything else happens related to her crop I may end up updating this again, but so far this seems good.
