just curious as to whats the oldest egg you've put in the incubator and have success with it.

I've put a 16 day old egg in the bator once - It was quite close to hatching, but due to incubator troubles, it never got to. I still found what the chick looked like though, and behold - My "purebred" egg was not purebred as I was hoping. Someone jumped in the pile. .

With quail 15 days the eggs got lost in mail. With chicken almost 3 weeks had 14 out 17 hatch.

I have to agree with 3 to 3 1/2 weeks seeming to be the natural cut off range because that has been my experience as well. Shipped eggs too suprisingly.
