Olive egger or not?

This is definitely a "time will tell" question as Olive Eggers are a mix of almost endless possibilities of breeds and combinations of mixes. There's no easy way to tell. :) I will say, the pink legs could be coming from Marans genetics (very common breed to be included for OEs) and since you're located in England, the standard over there is clean legs which could explain lack of leg feathers that many have. :)

I am raising two Olive Egger chicks from Cackle Hatchery but they look identical to the Welsummers I ordered. I may have to wait for eggs to determine who is who. When I questioned the staff they said they used Welsummers as part of the Olive Egger breeding program. Who knew? Anyway apparently the Olive Eggers are indeed mutts and come from an assortment of other breeds.
