I dug holes too. My dad showed me the business end of a shovel, post hole digger and digging bar. Said talent not used is talent wasted.
I quit digging in the yard.

I was given a scoop shovel and told to fill the coal bin from the back of the truck. It didn't take long to learn to toss shovelfuls from either direction.

I learned a few things today. I should probably let the beans cook for a while before adding the rest of the ingredients. It was not a failure, however. Quail chili is pretty good.
