i have a hot wire all around my chicken coop,after they roost i lock them up and turn on the juice,if any animal touches it,it will shock them big time,lol that inculudes rats also,no more proublems,except for hawks,cannot do anything for that,do really cost that much,in the long run you will be saving your chickens,,,good luck

Well just like congress I hear no plan, doing nothing isn't working either! WWW.DEMANDAPLAN.COM! I demand a plan and so do many more of us and so should you! You drive a car you have to have a license and insurance! Baseball bats can be taken away from the idiot swing them, you can only hit one person at a time same with a knife. My common sense tells me that their are to many guns out there and to easily obtained! When a known felon who lost their right to own or possess a fire arm can walk into a gun show and walk back out with a fully loaded fire arm ready to commit another crime, then there is something that needs to be done with the gun laws to stop this nonsense once and for all! Open your eyes people and stop listening to the NRA and fox news! Just to prove how gullible people are go find out who profited the most from the last time the NRA put a stop to new gun laws? Everyone went gun nuts and started buying up guns and ammo for fear they weren't going to be able to own one! How much money did the gun manufacturers make in 2013? Open your eyes people! Oh and FYI I know the known felon who did purchase a fire arm at a gun show!

Obviously, you have NEVER been to a gunshow. The people who sell guns at gunshows are REGISTERED FFL dealers. You don't just have any JoeShmow dealing arms, like some middle-eastern bazzare. When you buy a gun, and I know what I'm talking about, because I have actually BOUGHT a gun, at a gunshow, the seller/dealer will run a required federal background check on you. A felon just doesn't walk into a gunshow, and buy a M-16. That is a B/S myth pushed out there by anti-gun people. And if one did, he didn't buy it inside, it was probably some kind of already ILLEGAL side deal, out in the parking lot.
Felons get there guns either by stealing them, or buying one off of somebody that stole it. You want to crack down on gun crimes. HAMMER the criminals. Put them in jail for 10yrs, no probation, no get out early for "Good time served". We have layer upon layer of gun laws. federal and state. We don't need any more. It's getting to the point, that they are going to make a lot of law abiding folks criminals, with their never ending push for stupid laws.
Another thing to look at, is the dispensing of psycho-tropic drugs. If you were to take a good look at the mass shootings we've had. You would see, that in practically every one, the shooter was some kind of a mental case, on one, or more, of these drugs. Take a look at the listed side effects of some of those things they like to push on people. But you never hear any talk of looking into, or regulating that.
