OMG..I THINK WE FOUND A GRAVE IN OUR BACKYARD! "UPDATE PAGE 11"

If you take a plain sheet of paper and lay it on the markings on the stone and take a soft drawing pencil or a crayon and rub it on the paper across the face of the stone it may bring up the words and dates on the stone. This is called rubbing. Use the flat side of a crayon is best, but do not rub too hard or it won't work.

NO name? just two numbers? C'mon, we need a pic.

My father manage a campground, and we camped there, The new owner was putting in a pool, and when they where digging out the the area for the cement for the pool, they found an old Indian Barrial ground.
I tell you, i was young and i was freak out for about a couple weeks, that until they got the pool done. LOL
It take a while because they had to stop and have other people come in take out things, like bones.

Did you call the Hall County Historical society? They might be able to help identify it and know if there are others. Or call the Quillan Art center and see if they have a contact. There was a writer at the Times, don't remember who but one of the editors should, who could help. Good luck and I think it is kinda cool, not creepy.
