Well I was lifting up her wings first, to make sure no eggs were hugged up against her, and then I lift her from under her body and put her out by her water. She makes a dive, quite literally, for her dark cubby where the nest is.

I know she snuck out when I wasn't looking today, though, because I went out to check her water and her feed had been nibbled in, and a fresh poo right by the waterer, as if to say THERE!

broody hens don't bother me..lol well my banty hens when they go broody and peck me when i want to look in the nest .it doesn't hurt me at all and they look cute anyways all puffy..lol

They are pretty cute!!! I am gonna wait to take pics until they are dried out and in the brooder....forgot to buy batteries and these are LOW!!!! I have 2 silkies with vaulted skulls, two without.

Super cute. They seem really tired or weak.....resting a lot right now. I hope they are alright. But they are responsive and adorable!!!!
