Black/Blue/Splash colored Orps.

They aim for blue, but the trait is hard to get so the chicks could end up being black blue or a blackish blueish splash color.
Same with the blue andalusian breed.
Correct me if I'm wrong anyone...

Well, here is the update. My two mutt chicks are bouncing off the walls and just too adorable.

My Silkies have not fared so well. 3 eggs had still not pipped so I quickly candled when taking everyone out of the bator. They were all dead.

4 Silkies hatched. One died. The others are still with me but they are just so weak.

I have never seen anything like it. They just sleep.

One seems to getting a little stronger....I actually let my son briefly hold her this evening. Keep your fingers crossed for the little darlings.
