OMG(osh)! First Pip!!!

After it came did you calibrate it or just use it. If you didn't salt water test it it could be where your issue is it will give you a false reading.

I just used it. =I probably should have calibrated it first. I calibrated 1 week ago before we put the eggs were in lockdown.

No telling, my last set of chicken eggs I had 38 chirping rolling and cracking. 10 died in the shell fully formed no attempt to even pip inside membrane. I always set a full incubator. Even if I'm hatching ducks I fill in spaces with chicken eggs at day 7 of candling duck eggs so they all hatch at once.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a mass mortality with my last clutch of ducks. They all fully developed, and then half never even pipped. It's painful but I hope those last two make it

This is crazzzzyyyyy! The egg that had the pip might still be alive! Last night I put it on the incubator just to be sure and when I was checking on the egg it had cracked a bit more!!! I took a bit of the shell off and I saw a little beak!!! If it survives all of this it will be so awesome! He might be lonely because all of his siblings died.
