Regardless of who's toes you need to be careful of, I agree, she needs a vet. I understand that it can be mega money, been there. But at least to find out what you are dealing with, maybe it is something you can treat yourself by buying the meds elsewhere.

I am going to treat her for a few days at home with the polysporin and the daily baths and medicated water...and if there is no improvement I will cull her.
I am sorry I am not spending a $95 consultation fee for a chicken that cost me $7.50 ...
My own vet did look at a scraping and said he could not see anything that would make him think a mange or mite like infestation. He is showing it to a few vet friends over the next week and he said if he has any news he would call me... he said to continue treating as I have been. He did say he could not see the chicken in his office though...
