OMG.........That is sooooooooo sad for your daughter. I cannot believe people that think chickens are just nothing and their dogs are above all other creatures. I had to have 2 dogs hauled to the shelter 3 times and their owner finally had to give them up. They say it is my fault for having chickens. I should have known that they attract dogs!!!!!!!

but, you did nothing wrong, you protected YOURS - and your DD was out there defending her chickens, what if the dog turned on HER???...you were definitely protecting YOURS!

You were kind to allow the neghbors to take back THEIRS!
