On day 22 (Sat.) and NOTHING...how long should I wait?

Thank you everyone for being my strength. You have no idea how badly I want to open and candle one of the eggs, but I'll wait longer....IT"S SO HARD!!!! and my DH isn't helping, he keeps asking, so should we take one out and check it or open it...I just keep saying no.

Will you please tell your little chickies to tell my little chickies to get their little chickies butts in gear, hahaha. What day did you go into lockdown btw? Also, what were you holding your temp and humidity at for days 1-18 and then at lockdown? Just curious, I'm trying to compare my conditions with someone else to see if maybe mine are just behind too and not dead.

lemurchaser - What do you think if I put my digital cooking thermometer through one of the holes in the top? I'm sure the one in the bator is acurate, I tested it before I started, but now I'm wondering...k, maybe I'm just looking for something to do to keep me busy, lol. I'm going out for dinner here in a few hours so I can get away from the bator and hopefully my eyes will uncross too

I'll keep everyone up to date too. Also, I would love to see pics of all the new babies, it kind of gets my mind off of what's NOT going on here

Well, The humidity actually was all over the place. it was 22-60. changed almost daily. I tried to keep it around 30. Temp was 98.8-101.1 tried to maintaine 99.5 Im using an LG still air. I hate it. I bought a used sportsman with all the bells and whistles. I have all the others in it. It stays at 99.5-100.1 and 35%. Lockdown was on tuesdaynight 6pm. I upped the humidity staying 65-70% now. I keep using a syringe with a small tube to inject water onto wadded papertowels. all trays full of water. temp is staying 99.5-100.1 I have 3 pips now and 2 more wiggling!!!! This is killing me!!!! They have to make it. I am so soft hearted when it comes to animals. People Don't bother me. (nothing personal ya'll) but animals depend on us! we make our lifes what they are by the decisions we make in our lives every day. even if its just deciding what street to drive down. but animals are a different story. especially if they are in our care. They have no choice. they depend on us to live or die. sorry lost track of what i was saying.....LOL Sorry I just love animals! These Fuzzy Butts are driving me insane!!!

UPDATE

Hallelujah, Hallelujah....Came home from dinner to my #4 egg pipped, I can't believe it!!!!!

After doing the happy dance with my 2 and 4 year old,

I tried to settle down and read them a story, only made it about 7 min into the book and had to run back to check only to find ANOTHER pip in the #2 egg AND we could hear peeping!!!!! This is so exciting, I can't contain myself, you should see the smile on my face right now. After about 2 more hours now my #7 egg (pure RIR) is starting, the eggs are moving like crazy...it's like popcorn in my incubator right now, guess 23 is my lucky number, hahaha. I really want to thank you for all your support and advice, I really thought they were all gonners, but you all encouraged me to keep going and NOT to touch, so glad I waited. Here's a pic of the pips and hopefully they'll make it and I'll have more pics of fluffy butts for everyone.

I woke up for some reason at like 430. Walked over to the Bator and POW!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 chick popped out already! hadn't been out long. 5 Pips and lots of wiggling and shaking. Im so eggcited! I did a lil happy chicky dance.

DW is sill asleep. Who can sleep? LIFE is happening NOW!!!!! I got some pics. I will post as soon as I can. camera died when taking photos. lol I did get some pics of baby and I was privy to see the first poo!!!!!! I got a pic of it too. LOL Thank You Featherd!
