Sure you don't have a hidden nest?

One time, my pullet, Bernadette, stopped laying for about a week, or so I thought. I was starting to get worried, but then found a hidden nest that contained 9 eggs. Bernadette and Wilma had been laying there ( I can tell their eggs apart). Bernadette still struggles to lay in a nest box on days when my other hens don’t lay. I find her eggs in the strangest places. Yesterday I found one in the middle of my lavender plant. I would check around, and look in places you wouldn’t think they could get into.
