Since i don't use that type of turner anymore i took the trays out and use them to sit the eggs in for hatching they work great so far.. it doesn't cover half the egg like cartons do so if a chick pips low it still had a chance to make it and the eggs aren't fitted in the cups they are very loose that way you can see when they wiggle and rock

congradulation on the new zip, maybe your chicks squirted something on the screen cuz they wanted some privacy or to help block out light lol

i am starting to smell something from the hatcher bator!

it's that after birth smell..

i don't know if any of you notice it but when your done with a hatch and you finally open the bator after all the chicks have hatched..don't you smell a smell that bothers you and your like

i smell that now but know chicks have hatched i only have one so far that is zipping but i already smell that smell

the one that is zipping is probably letting out the gasses that were in the egg and that is what your smelling lol
chicks got gas
