One eye closed what is wrong with her?

My silkie hen recently has been having one eye closed, if i touch it she opens it briefly and it looks fine. Im not sure why this is happening and i'm really worried since she is a very close companion to me. Thank you

I'd first try rinsing the eye with saline to see if any debris is in there that needs flushed out. You can also put a dot of eye ointment like Terramycin eye ointment in the eye. Rinse/flush and put ointment in the eye a couple of times a day for a few days, see if that helps her eye. She may have dirt in it or perhaps scratched or injured it.

Does she have any other issues - is she acting sick, is she eating o.k.?
