One stray baby duck found. Not sure how it got here. No mother in sight.

Hey guys, so this morning I found this one little baby duck roaming around the yard. No clue where he/she has come from as none of my call ducks are currently setting. The baby showed up without a mum.

It's predominately black, black beak, black legs..

Unsure whether it's one of my calls or whether it's gotten lost and found it's way here.

The colouring is so different to all the other baby calls I've hatched. Doesn`t mean that it's not a call though.

So odd but a very nice surprise.

I`ll attach some photos and see if anyone thinks it looks like a potential call duck baby.. as we have a lot of wild ducks in the local area also.

we've also had really bad stormy weather of late. So maybe it got lost and found it's way here.

no idea if it's a domestic breed or wild.. just because it looks so different to my other ducklings i'm breeding currently.

Haven't had any new hatchings for atleast 4 weeks.. so it's odd.

But i`m happy, made a new friend with it aha.
