One Welsummer chick half again the size of the other

I'm wondering why one of my Welsummer chicks is waaaaay bigger than the other one, and significantly bigger than other chicks in my baby pen that were all hatched on the same day (this past Wednesday). I ordered pullets only, but I'm wondering if the excessively large size of that one chick might indicate a mistake in sexing? They were the same size when I got them home - but one has grown much faster than the other. Any experience/insight?

How about a photo?

I wouldn't say way bigger. In the 2nd pic, it's hard to compare, as objects in foreground always appear larger than those in background. I'm thinking they're within the realm of normal. Update us as time goes on!

You would not get a difference in size yet for cockeral vs pullet. My opinion would be that the one chick is just a little bit bigger, but not outside a normal growth rate for both. Definitely update in the future though to see how it turns out.

My reason for wondering is that I am splitting this hatchery order with a friend who is more tolerant of roosters in her flock, and if one seems like a possible boy, I would not choose that one to stay here with me.
