One year old rooster has a fully formed hard lump in neck. Please help and tell me what I can do.

Good morning/evening everyone
As I promised to share the update @Tanya22 done the blood work of her rooster browine she suspected a small lump on neck (which her examiner Suggested is his wish bone)
We did the tests otherwise to be on safe side and look inside his internal health . I was expecting good ranges as her examiner confirm that's not lump (in my knowledge hard ball type knots are maybe not bones )

His tests results give me little shock because he is in excellent health outside

Here I am attaching kindly show your suggestions I find some sort of autoimmune disorder is going on (Viral)

It is possible, however it may be safest to have an avian specialist interpret the blood work? Maybe someone would be willing to provide a phone consultation?
Is there a way to be sure that the reference ranges that they provided apply to a rooster? Sometimes in hospital lab equipment do not have avian specific reference ranges, double check it to be sure.:)
The original picture looked like a mass and you should be able to feel if it is a mass verses bone, even as a pet owner.
The only other thought I had was to double check the herbal supplements and make sure they do not impact the white blood cell count in any way. Sometimes some herbs can alter your blood cells.
How is he doing? :hugs

Here is an example of reference ranges. Give the vet a call and see what reference range they provided you on the blood work.

That's what confusing me also how is it possible for a chicken to have blood range like a matured human ..

@Tanya22 examiner unable to tell her the whole conclusion about the test they did .

I truly agree that the lab equipment of testing is set as the animals not as birds .

I remembered once my own blood test parameters go up and down due to the storage of samples .

I'm trying my best to contact vets and I make sure I do my best to provide browine help .

He's very healthy just in excellent health hardly fall sick since I know him

Yeah I saved it too with this one accordingly to the avian range browine have Abnormal parameters which. Clearly double doubt on Viral Infection his White Blood Cells are Abnormally increasing with high amount of RBC

Low TLC means his body don't have enough cells to fight off the bacteria

PVC cell volume is also Abnormal

His report clearly saying an Infection
In his blood
but I'm still finding it out I am contacting my vet friends

I hope @Eggcessive and @casportpony once see the report

Hello everyone!
I have spoken to the vet who collected Brownie's blood sample. She will be sending a report conclusion soon.
She said that the WBC would be a matter of concern and indicate a virul infection if it was accompanied with either abnormal poop, runny nose (consistently) or runny eyes.

For Brownie I haven't noticed any such thing. He sneezes sometimes but doesn't have a runny nose or eyes. His poop is normal looking (green, firm and with a white cap on top) and he does cecal poop daily.

The vet also mentioned that since birds drink less water in winters it can cause their blood levels to differ. She is an Avian vet so I hope she is right.
