Well, I finally sold those leghorns I have had since January. I was going to keep some, but since it is clear there is little demand for them, just forget it. Oh yeah, people would call and say they wanted some, but never show up. Like when I list bucklings. I can't tell you how many guys have said they are coming , then not show up

Now that they are gone, the Ameraucaunas have more space. Just wondering if one of the young ones I am growing out is a boy.
Thelma was loose on grapevine hill, that goat is always into something. Even after I added barbed wire. Well, I will add another strand. Ultimately, if she does not smarten up, I will get rid of her. I need less aggravation, not more.
We did get a little much needed rain tonight, luckily it was after I finished selling chickens and feeding everyone.
Guess I should go down and close the barn door. The dog always picks a building to hide in when it thunders, but I don't like to leave that door open with varmints on the loose all night.
I did not see those black vultures today, they must know I am packing heat after yesterday's massacre.
