online Crazy Egg Chain Chat thread

Young turkeys are adorable! I don't have any luck with hatching turkey eggs or I'd have been all over Mike's eggs.

I can't play right now, as much as I'd like to. Everyone is either broody, with chicks, mixed, or a button quail, so I'm not getting any 'tradeable' eggs.

Well, I finally sold those leghorns I have had since January. I was going to keep some, but since it is clear there is little demand for them, just forget it. Oh yeah, people would call and say they wanted some, but never show up. Like when I list bucklings. I can't tell you how many guys have said they are coming , then not show up:he Now that they are gone, the Ameraucaunas have more space. Just wondering if one of the young ones I am growing out is a boy.

Thelma was loose on grapevine hill, that goat is always into something. Even after I added barbed wire. Well, I will add another strand. Ultimately, if she does not smarten up, I will get rid of her. I need less aggravation, not more.
We did get a little much needed rain tonight, luckily it was after I finished selling chickens and feeding everyone.

Guess I should go down and close the barn door. The dog always picks a building to hide in when it thunders, but I don't like to leave that door open with varmints on the loose all night.

I did not see those black vultures today, they must know I am packing heat after yesterday's massacre.

I had one package take 8 days to go to an adjoining state! Then I had one that was going to :Colorado, but was lost on the way. I ended up sending them another package. But of course, the PO does not guarantee how long these will take to ship. You pay your money and take your chances with them.

I had one package sent to me from Eastern KY (I'm in central KY) that took a full week--meaning it was sent on Saturday and I got it the next Saturday. The longest one that I sent took 12 days to get from here to PA (next state over).
