I don't know, someone on one of the groups was saying they were just at an auction in Iowa and the auctioneers said they are not allowed to sell muscovies any more or they will lose their license.

But let me tell you, there must be something in the water this year, I have never had so many broodies at one time! I think my max so far was 15, but some of them quit the nests. I have right now 9 hens with chicks, 7 hens on eggs, a broody rouen duck, and 2 broody guineas

I tell ya, I sure don't need this many babies!

I'll borrow some of your hens, I can't walk through our laundry room for all the brooding boxes in there

It tells you on feathersite what the problem is with the Muskovies. They got lumped in with something else. I only paid attention because I just got some from a private breeder for eggs.

I see the same folks on the CEC most of the time. Folks like me with overflowing incubators.

So, tell me what are you going to do with all the chicks you hatch? I'm starting to worry about this. I took 2 breeds of eggs that I'm not even remotely working with.

What was I thinking???
