I met my guy online, AOL Chat no less, sort of. It was a special interest chat, a mutual hobby, I arranged a group meeting and he came along with one of the other friends from the chat. I never really talked to him much in the chat, but the twinkle in his eye caught mine that meeting.

We were just friends for years after that, life gets in the way you know. When things where hitting the fan for him, we were still good friends and could talk. One of the worst nights he was having and needed to be anywhere but home, we met for dinner. He was moving out of state at the end of the month I realized I was probably not going to see him again, I was hoping that what ever women he met would recognize what a good guy he was......and then I had to know for myself and kissed him.

We have been together ever since (3.5 years), and yes long distance, some day life will allow us to be together all the time. Neither of us can imagine being with anyone else.

Carols Cluck that is awesome...much success and happiness to you both.

Redhen...yeah right someone whined the last time and they snatched my pic. Sheesh

redhen .... ya know the man gets anything he wants....just the ther day he gave me his "honey you know you love me" smile and look....and then said "I want to build an amoured humvee or tank....mind?" That is after of course he told me he wants to build two cannons for the circular drive and that I can keep my babies that just hatched if I want to....

He came home today with 4- 500lb sheets of steel.

LOL no worries from me gal. After someone walked into my coop and stole my best pair of partridge silkies....I was so upset he said "No problem baby don't cry I will mine the perimeter and wait for them to come back" hahahahahaha The fun of being married to a retired green beret.

I met my hubby of 2 1/2 years on eharmony.com. We were "matched" within a week of me joining, he had been online for about 7 months with no luck. We communicated by email for about a month before I would give him my phone number. I had met my previous boyfriend in an aol chat room 10 yrs earlier, and I knew how easy it was to get emotionally connected to somebody over the phone, even if you haven't met them. Once we did start talking, we talked almost every evening for 1-2 hours. I lived in n. cal and he lived in Mesa, Az. We finally met 2 months after our first phone call, but I think it was mostly a formality for us both. We were both looking for a long term, serious relationship. We were engaged a month later, and married a year later. We both feel it was an arranged marriage, of sorts, arranged by God. We have our problems, like all couples, but we are doing just fine. Physical attraction is something that grows as you get closer, and love is more than a "feeling", its an action. The more you act on it, the more you will feel it. The problems come when you get that process reversed.
