Tomorrow is supposed to be a day in which we take stock of our lives and gives thanks for the blessings we have received in our lives. While I did lose a dear friend this year, I still have reason to give thanks. I was priviledged to have had such a treasured friendship. BYC has afforded me the opportunity to make friends both far and near and I'm am thankful for all of you.

Have a great day Sam. There is always a little sadness in our losses, but there is also great joy in the memories we gather from those we hold dear.
I made an apple pie last night, it is almost gone this morning...not sure how Mike stays so skinny! I have the duck giblets boiling on the stove, I love giblet gravy! I bought extra livers for Mikes homemade stuffing, he already has the cornbread and biscuts baked, all I have to do is chop some vegies for him! The duck is seasoned and ready for the grill
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
and
Happy Thursday to everyone across the pond and elsewhere
I may not be American but I certainly have plenty to be thankful for, today and every day. I might just manage to force a piece of apple pie down tonight just to prove it. It'll be a struggle of course, but I'd do it just for you all!
Thanks to all of you! Yes we have lost friends but we always manage to GAIN friends over the years. Not only losing one but two of the BYCers this year.
No apple pie here but planning on making some pumpkin cookies! Hope they are good as they look!
To the wonderful folks across the pond, do you celebrate Thanksgiving like we do? Or do you have a different holiday similar to ours?
