Opa's place -Where an old rooster visits with friends

Of course, the correct answer could well be " All of them "...

After all, Sam didn't say which was his son, he asked which one he had raised. I raised a number of sons who were not mine...

While it's true that I raised 3 natural sons and 5 others the only one in the bunch that I can claim is the one on the far right. Elizabeth seemed to think he looked like George Strait.

I couldn't vote, he told me on the phone! The purple chaps were what caught my eye, so I carefully guessed all the others!

Same old hot and muggy here, so not much outdoor activity going on. Every time I go to work on the crate coop it rains! The pen where it will go is empty since I moved the broodies to another, so if the rain will stop I'll be able to knock it out fast. Moving the hens broke the broodiness, that's a relief!

I usually pay the bills, but had let some piles of papers build up on the desk. As a result, I didn't pay the water bill and we got shut off!

24 hours of no running water is NOT recommended! DH took it in stride cheerfully.

We used quite a bit of the water stash I maintain for emergencies like hurricanes, so time to restock. When I created the water stash I didn't have ducks. Now I need to take them into account as well. That's a LOT of water to store.

Hope everyone is well and happy!

Hey Ranchie!

It doesn't help that bills seem to come in almost every day. -_- That does stink, though.
