Ordered my first batch of Lavender Ameraucanas.

Super excited about these eggs. Got the itch to fire up the incubator and set some eggs. They shipped next week from Kansas. Also have some Maran eggs coming in a few weeks. Excited about that hatch too.

Eggs are beauties. Im getting Lavender Ameraucanas too! But Im driving 2 hours away Wednesday to pick up 6 chicks. Happy hatching!

I just have ask are these the actual eggs? I have had blue egg layers for years .Including Lavander Ameraucanas those are the bluest egg I have seen.Hope the hatch is awsome.

I noticed that they were pretty blue. I'll let you know when they arrive and I set them in the incubator.

I noticed that they were pretty blue. I'll let you know when they arrive and I set them in the incubator.

Some eggs get darker after refrigeration. Marans eggs being one that does. It is just they are so brilliant in color .And I am a sceptic.

They're just now starting to pip. They are hard to candle so I'm not sure how many are viable.
