great to have you joining the BYC flock

I have noticed it is always easer to call the local Police station or Sheriff's station as they will let you know right away but use the phone number in the local phone book not 911 as you are asking a question and it is not an emergency .....

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I would recommend going down to your city hall. Someone there should be able to tell you whether or not chickens are allowed in your area. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting chickens.

glad you have joined us.

I searched the ordinance lists and yours is not listed. Many times you can find out with a general google search and if not, try calling the City Clerk or your County Agent.

You can also search for others close to you under the "where am I, where are you" forums to locate folks close to you to ask.

Hope you can have your own flock.

Welcome to BYC!

Your city/village/township should have a webpage which may have it posted, or at least contact information to ask.
