There are a couple of people with very nice silkies in the Vancouver/Portland area, Kelar and feathers4fun (I think is their BYC name) and new2chick has some sizzle chicks. Very nice people...of course. Anyone else I'm not thinking of...please forgive me. I just took some benadryl!

I'll check with them also,

And I understand about benadryl, I've been trying to get a migraine and took tylenol with codeine. So I'm hoping it kicks in soon.

I can attest to kelar's birds being very beautiful and plump, even for her culls!

Wow, this is amazing!! I can't believe how far this Fall thread has come!! I can believe it was entertaining enough for me to sit and read all 19 pages

It all sounds great to me!! What a fantastic group this is.
I can be on the clean-up crew if 4-H doesn't work out.
Can also bring coffee.
Zoomummzy-you rock!! Just loved when you mentioned more house-chickens when kids move out.:lol:Love it!
Cloverleaf-Raffle and donation can sounds great. Perhaps we'll donate pullets or ??
Tarps under cage areas also work well to contain messes, easy to roll up and remove.
Indian runner ducklings---I bought 2 adorable f/w ducklings at the swap but can't remember who it was?????

I have a Bearded Golden Laced Polish cockerel for sale. He is not quite 6 months... probably closer to 4 - 5 months. Will need to look at the calendar to see for sure. Would only ask $15 for him.
We are located out near Battle Ground, WA.

Do you have a picture of him?

Just want to let everyone know I am in if my boss does not schedule me for that Saturday.

As for donations, I don't have chickens....but I will see what I have to help out.

This sounds like fun!

Hi everyone! I had so much fun at my very first swap last weekend so count me in for the fall swap!

Not to mention it's another chance for me to go on road trip with my daughter. I don't get to see her as much as I want (I'm so proud of her working full time WHILE going to college full time but sheez, her momma misses her

). Anyway, we laughed like maniacs the whole drive so if I can get a repeat of that for the fall swap I'm game!

I also vote for selling raffle tickets. Since I'm not far enough into this wonderful chicken hobby I won't have my own table...yet (hee hee) so I can't participate if there ends up being a table fee. I think a donation jar is important but I think it'd be fun to buy raffle tickets as well.

I most likely will have a Cuckoo Marans Roo to bring if anyone would be interested in him. He will be 8 months old by the swap. I just got a very sweet little roo from Cloverleaf last weekend so I will want to get rid of my CM guy. Any takers?

Have a great day!
