Oregon folks (Washington too) - Chicken Swap in Salem on June 13!

~UPDATE~

Welsummer Eggs:
I can only bring eggs for the person that I have previously made arrangements with.

All of my eggs are now reserved until the week of June 22nd.
Sorry!

Also.........If you would like a Salmon Faverolle cockeral let me know please before I bring them. I have 2 cockerals that will be 8 weeks old by then. If no one wants them or 1, I will not bring them.

Lensters brings up a great point about biosecurity. I have decided to only bring what someone wants.

I have 1 breeding trio left from my Welsummers...if someone would like them please let me know and I will bring them.
Cockerals will be 8 weeks old and pullets will be 7 weeks old by 6-13.
I am also going to retract the mixed chicks offered as my neighbor has agreed to purchase them.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you Bil for your patience and time for making the list and updating.

Bil - Thank you so much for keeping us all updated with what everyone has! That's so helpful!! Unfortunately, I candled my faverolle eggs last night, and only 1 has any veining, all the others had detached air cells...so now, even if I get more sent to me, they probably aren't going to be hatched in time for the swap!

The mille fleur eggs are in the hatcher now though!!

You're saving a trio for me right?

Len

Len,

Yes, Yes, Yes, not to worry!

I just mentioned it in case someone else wanted the last trio.

Can't wait for the swap.

Update - out of my 12 mille fleur eggs, only 1 hatched...I had several quit on day 18.
sad.png
And as of my day 5 candling, my sf's aren't looking good - shipping was pretty rough on them and most have detached air cells...we may be out for the swap completely.

That being said, I need to find a buddy for the lone bantam chick...anyone have 1 or 2 bantam chicks that I can get sooner than the swap? I need to find something pretty young...

Thanks guys!
