I've sent out a couple emails but haven't heard back yet so I thought I'd put the request out here. My friend at the feed store took one of my bantam roosters but would like 2 or 3 hens (bantam or standard size - doesn't matter) to go with him. He thought I might be able to find him a couple before he checks craigslist. He lives in Jefferson but I would be willing to help getting them to him if needed. He is not looking for SQ, just nice hens to keep his rooster happy and give his family eggs. I am traveling today back to the west coast but if you can hook me up, PM me! Thanks

Contacted them, and they are WONDERFUL people. They were able to work us in and if I can make it through the weather tomorrow, I'll pick up our turkey's in the morning!

It's awfully quiet around here! I have a question...will anyone have a faverolle pullet I can procure? My non-chicken child decided he thinks they're cute. I want to 'encourage' him (to come over to the dark side!

Another question...have ya'll tried the most wonderful mash from Patriot Farms? My DH drives up to Seattle regularly and gets it for us. The girls love it! I noticed the Washingtonians talk about it too.

Oh Gosh. Decisions, decisions. I think he was looking at the bantams. Is there a reason to pick one over the other? What colors will you have? I learned a lot from his internet search. I thought they only came in salmon. Are they really as cute as he thinks they are? They sure look it!
