Well, he's still here. The guy came and looked at him, and thought he was really nice, said there was a little too much white in his primaries, but that his size was good (I thought he was a little small) and he was going to take him, but didn't know for a fact that the breeder would want him, so couldn't pay for him (would've taken him for free).

Anyway, let me know as soon as you get something figured out for transport...

Thanks for the update. Yeah, the transportation is looking bleak, still working on it though. I am an idiot for putting myself in this position! I had a fine roo, but he went on safari while I was expanding fences and never came home. I am an idiot! Normally, I am very cautious and prepared, but this time it did not work out that way. Hard lessons are not soon forgotten!

If you find him a good home, do not hold him for me. I would not want him to have to be in a kennel for days because of me. I want him and will gladly take him, but the distance has me stumped, for now. I do not show birds (yet), I want pretty layers in my Speckled Sussex flock, so i will not fuss over his colors.

Thank you Thank you Thanks you!

Hi All!

Cloverleaf -- Four of the Lav Ameraucana babies are doing super, one died day two after hatching, just found the little guy dead in the morning, the only one from my total hatch of 23. Three of the tykes have just a tuft of a tail and wing feathers 3/4 the length of their bodies. The fourth one has inch long tail feathers and wing feathers longer than its body. Is this an indication of gender???

Looks like I will make the swap

I no longer have the Orp roo or the Marans. Hubby and I have 70+ honey bee hives and always have fresh, non-filtered, non-pasturized honey. We also make a lovely creamed honey. Typically we sell honey bears, 1 lb jars and 3 lb jars. Would also be happy to fill someones own container(s). If there is some interest I can bring as much as is wanted............. Oh, and of course, extra eggs

Yes on the honey!!!! I would love some honey. We use it all the time here in smoothies, tea, on toast....definitely count me in for some - regular or creamed or both!

I can bring containers. We're brewers of mead and beer so we'll take quite a few pounds off your hands for sure!
