Thanks, I will still keep her in mind. I wanna breed Silkies, but I havnt dicided yet, because I wanna breed Ameraucana's. I am thinking bout breeding both.

I'm wondering how long I should wait before trying to hatch these new pullets eggs?
I'm pleased with the size from them, they are almost as big as my brahma hens eggs. The shells look really nice also.

I would wait another week just to be sure they are fertile.

I wait until they are at least a Medium on my egg scale. Some of my Marans lay a large right from the get-go and if I like the pullet and her egg, she goes in with the roo..........

Maybe I missed something about her length of time with the roo? I also wait about a week after being in with the roo to start collecting eggs for incubation.

The little orp's egg is almost a medium from the start. She has been in with the roo since I got them so as long as he's fertile.
