Glad to hear that, I bought some this year. My main coops are hoop houses and we need to replace tarps every Fall as the sun disintegrates them. Hoping the plastic will last longer, it was certainly more expensive........

We use greenhouse plastic. It comes in different weights and widths. It works great except for when the turkeys try to roost on it. Then you need to add another layer.

Those dogs are called "Kick it's" I would not kick the dog but some times you sure would like too, the people behind us have two Kick it's.

The stuff I'm using is 204 mil, not the easiest stuff to wrestle by myself, but I'm getting it done!

I couldn't budge the roll by myself. But three guys had a 70 foot coop completely roofed in about 20 minutes, including the shade cloth. I love skilled labor.

I try and do most of the building and chicken projects myself. I'm 5'6" my DH is 6'4", if I leave it to him everything is about an inch higher than I can reach! I know this from the kitchen shelves in the house we built 8 years ago.

The pumpkins are going into the chicken run today. The girls sure enjoyed some of the guts after carving.

Hello : ) We are just outside Aurora. Our girls are enjoying the pumpkin harvest also.
