Ameraucana, Black Sex Link, Golden Sex Link, Light Brahma & Rhode Island Red
Nice! I have red and golden sex links and a RIR that is my awesome flock leader. I have one Australorp. I just hatched some Isbar babies that I am pretty excited about and got some beautiful little BCM's from @oregonkat
You can see my one little splash chick in the front. Do you have any photos of your flock?

Hello! Newbie in Salem, Oregon. At the beginning of April, I bought 7 straight run chicks, plus 2 females, hoping to end up with 5 or 6 hens. 6 weeks later, we've determined 3 of the 7 straight runs are definitely male (on the fence about 2, only 2 out of the 7 are unquestionably female). One cockerel is going to a new home today but my friend could only take one. Does anyone locally know of people who will take roosters? Post them "free" on Craigslist?

So glad you found your way over to this thread good to see you here.
Surprisingly I have had very little trouble disposing of my surprise or excess cockerels this year. I have had great luck listing them on some of the various Facebook groups there is an Oregon chicken lovers there's Northwest livestock there's an Oregon homesteaders classified group as well as a few others that I'm drawing a blank on at the moment. Generally even my males are gone within 24 hours of listing

Hello all..I tried my hand at incubating eggs..I was told they were Smooth Sizzle Silkies..5 out of 18 hatched..Not real bad for shipped eggs..Hopefully soon my hubby will build a Silkie house..

Hello, I live in Eugene/ junction city area, what age would you put baby chicks out side in a coop? My last 2 sets I put out side around 12 weeks. The chicks I have now are 5 weeks old. But I’m wondering what everyone else does around the area. Lol let’s be honest they don’t smell like roses :p:lau
