Then it was a mistake on the judges part. Black Asil lg fowl are not in the Standard and thus cannot by APA Rules advance that far. I had to correct a judge at the Unifour several years ago that gave my Black Asil cock Best of Breed that that couldn't be so as it wasn't in the Standard. Judges do make mistakes.


Earlier I had been talking about Crossroads; I thought you meant there: my mistake.

I've been to Carl's place a couple of times (he's a good friend) and I didn't even remember that he had Black Asil. I'll have to give him a call and tell him what we are up to with the Standardization.

Yes it saddens me greatly that my plans to attend that show fell thru. Oh well, there is always next years national.
 
That's the down-side of boards/messaging to me. Without talking one on one we can either sound like we are coming on too strong or are just push-overs.

The good part is we get to connect with so many folks at once!

Hi. I am from Pakistan.I recently acquired 4 chicks which have naked necks and crops and a very aggressive attitude.One of them,I know,was the only naked necked chicken from 7 other chicks that hatched from one hen.i think these are aseels.I'm attaching some photos.Please inform me which breed these chicks are.Thankyou.
