Where did you get the harness for the scale to weigh your birds from? I know you can get the scale at Bass Pro Shops.

There are a few people on Face Book who sell them. I got mine from Thai Gamefowl. They sell a lot of fowl apparel.

I wonder if it is a combo of genes like silkie plus the porcupine gene? As the silkies from photos of breeders over there looked like silkies and seemed to be ided as such but the one black one was ided as something else... Oh to have the mad scientist lab I dream of. I wish I could find some photos of western birds with the porcupine gene, all I could find was an ancient drawing, not helpful enough.
