p&j,

ff's birds are as close to Std. weights that you'll find. He's been breeding quality Asil for a long long time (20+ years).

Hyderabad is a region in Pakistan: also a region in India. It can refer to Asil that come from either.

In the last year or so, it has become a selling point for some like Rampuri is. Thus, you can't always trust that the birds mentioned are from Pakistan or not. You have to know the breeder.

Of course, in the last year or so I've contacted folks with Asil for sale. They'd say, "These are from doc's (me) birds." I'd say, 'Oh, really.' Then they shoot some fantastic line about how they came by them> ALL A LIE. Amazing.

Names of breeders get used a lot but most of the time, as you say, it is a lie. Not only that.........it only takes two years to completely screw up someones line, so even if that part is true, the birds may not be quality birds. Some names are used so much the breeder would have to raise 100k birds to get them out to that many people. lol

Exactly what I thought. It seems I really DO know more than I thought, but being a newbie, I am afraid to question all the BS lines that are fed to me. Thanks, guys!
