Of course not. They don`t need a reason. The idea that you have a game breed and more than one rooster is sufficient for them. A few years back, when I still lived in SO FL, a fellow got raided. They took roosters, hens, chicks, turkeys, ducks, geese, everything. He wasn`t fighting roosters at the time, but all those roosters said "cock fighter", so they took them and killed them all. I have another story about my birds and a friends birds being confiscated at the post office when we were trying to ship. I`ll save it for another time........Pop.

PS: They took money and guns from Mark Giles also.

The PETA is nothing but a group of animal-crazed radicals.

Did they take money and guns in the name of the government, or in the name of their organization?

May God spare every demoralized soul in the PETA. What they're doing puts man lower than the ape. They claim to be animal rights activists, yet they murder hundreds of birds that were never fought in their life. Warped, I say, warped.

PETA do not and can not take anything. Laws are enforced by police or humane officers working with the police and or local animal control, whatever that may be. Local animal control is not PETA.

I do not any way support PETA, but, the right information should be out there. There is a huge difference between say ALF, PETA, organization, your local animal shelter, etc-sliding scale from most radical to least radical, in that order. Seems to me the real issue is with overall disconnect from animal life for most of our citizens, so much so that the ignorance runs so thick it's hard to cut through at times. Yeah, groups like PETA do a lot of aggressive lobbying, but, a majority put the laws on the books, and the police enforce them.

Not trying to defend them, just like to have facts straight. Also, if the topic keeps going down this road, I can promise you the thread will be locked or closed. I've seen it happen here before. So fair warning.

i guarantee that i would be banned for posting on this subject. the american humane society and peta are the ones that need banning from our 'free' country. suing them for a million plus the birds is a good start.

If they take my birds away and put them down,don't matter that excuse they used.
