Our KC hen used to be the loudest. I think they take turns being the loudest now.Drakes are not loud at all.

Females are the loud ones of duck breeds.

Just had quite the scare. I was eating a salad while the duckling was snuggling in my lap and a piece of lettuce fell next to him/her. It was small but also a big piece. Well the duckling ate it and I thought he/she might choke but he/she didn't and ate it fine.

I was panicking the whole time until he/she started making noise, almost like he/she was asking for more.
He/she was trying to eat my shirt so I grab a small handful of feed and he/she sucked it all down in a few seconds.

Update:
My parents decided that we can't keep the duckling so I posted to a facebook group to see if anyone will take him/her.
Anyone on here live near Battle Ground that could possibly take him/her?

Already got a response on facebook. The lady who messaged me has 8 ducklings and will take this one.
